Sirogojno Company is EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013
BELGRADE - The prestigious world title for entrepreneurial achievements EY Entrepreneur Of The Year has been delivered in Serbia for the second time and the 2013 award went to Sirogojno Company owned by Rade Ljubojevic.
A total of 22 candidates from eight Serbian cities entered the competition for the prestigious title and President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Zeljko Sertic delivered the award to Ljubojevic late on Thursday.
Sirogojno Company deals in wool clothing manufacturing and fruit processing and it will be Serbia's representative at the competition for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year in Monte Carlo in June.
Congratulating Ljubojevic on the award, Sertic noted that there are around 200,000 entrepreneurial businesses and around 100,000 business associations in Serbia.
We all need to help each other succeed so as to improve operation and business environment, Sertic said.
At the ceremony in the Hyatt Hotel, the recognition Innovative Entrepreneur Of The Year was delivered to owner of Bitgear company Dejan Dramicanin which increased its business activities by 1,822 percent over the past five years.
The EY Fast Growing Entrepreneur Of The Year went to Prelovac company owned by Vladimir Prelovac.
Winner of the EU award Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2012 was Darko Budec, owner of Buck company.
