AEK and Panathinaikos win, Panetolikos triumphs

AEK and Panathinaikos scored home wins for the Super League playoffs on Sunday, while the match between PAOK and Olympiakos was postponed due to both teams' European commitments.

Two goals in the first quarter of an hour by Ezequiel Ponce settled the game between AEK and Aris with a 2-0 score, a day after AEK celebrated its 100th birthday.

Injured hiker rescued near Delphi

A Dutch woman was rescued after sustaining a head injury while hiking near Delphi in central Greece.

The woman had embarked on a cross-country hike from the Delphi archaeological site towards the village of Kroki on Thursday when she slipped and injured her face. Nonetheless, she managed to call the emergency number 112 for assistance.

Panathinaikos brings AEK down from the top

Panathinaikos came from behind to inflict AEK's first defeat in 22 league games and allow PAOK to go top of the Super League table, while Olympiakos also remains in the title race.

The Greens defeated the champion 2-1 at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium on Wednesday, in a game whose first half was among the season's most spectacular.

Wins for AEK and PAOK, as the Greens stumble again

AEK and PAOK continued with victories at the top two spots of the Super League table over the weekend, but Panathinaikos dropped two points against bottom team Kifissia at home.

AEK faced sixth-placed Lamia away and won 3-1 on Saturday, courtesy of goals by Domagoj Vida, Niclas Eliasson and Steven Zuber. Sidcley Ferreira scored Lamia's consolation.

PAOK’s mauling of Olympiakos puts Panathinaikos four points clear

PAOK triumphed at Olympiakos on Sunday after AEK stumbled at Kifissia on Saturday, allowing Panathinaikos to open a four-point gap at the top of the Super League table.

The Greens had a tough match at fifth-placed Lamia on Saturday, but managed to emerge victorious with a 2-1 score despite playing with 10 men in the last few minutes.
