Reds conquer Barcelona, Greens lose to Maccabi
Olympiakos has taken the lead in its Euroleague playoff battle with Barcelona scoring a road win on Wednesday in Game 1, while Panathinaikos has conceded home advantage to Maccabi Tel Aviv losing in Athens on Tuesday.
The Reds beat Barcelona 77-75 and have taken the upper hand in the best-of-five playoffs that lead to Berlin's Final Four next month.

Reds bow out of Euroleague with victory
Olympiakos's Euroleague campaign came to a sad and quiet end on Friday with a comfortable 99-74 win over Darussafaka at home, that did not matter at all.
The Reds knew from the previous day that they would not make the play-offs despite being at an advanced point of the regular season a favorite for a top-four finish.

Troubles at the eastern front for Reds and Greens

Olympiakos guards sink Real Madrid
Olympiakos ended Real Madrid's unbeaten run in the Euroleague beating the European champion at home on Thursday, while Panathinaikos suffered another away loss, this time at Baskonia on Friday.
Both Greek teams are now on five wins from nine games, at the end of a grueling week.

Partizan lose to Lokomotiv Kuban in basketball Eurocup
BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade lost 93-83 (21-24, 20-15, 22-18, 30-26) at home to Lokomotiv Kuban in a Eurocup Basketball Group C, Round 5 game late Wednesday.
In front of around 3,000 spectators at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Nigel Williams-Goss led Partizan with 18 points, followed by Patrick Miller and Samardo Samuels, who scored 17 points each.

Partizan beats Bilbao Basket in first Eurocup win
BILBAO - Partizan Belgrade beat Bilbao Basket 96-92 (21-26, 21-23, 24-19, 30-24) on the road in Tuesday's Eurocup Basketball Group C, Round 3 game to notch up their first win in the competition this season.
Nigel Williams-Goss led the scoring for Partizan with 27 points, followed by Novica Velickovic (19 pts), Patrick Miller (13 pts) and Vanja Marinkovic (10 pts).
