Government provides guarantees for Serbs detained in Kosovo

BELGRADE - The Serbian government decided on Monday to provide guarantees that Oliver Ivanovic, Dragoljub Delibasic, Laza Lazic and Zarko Veselinovic, currently detained in Kosovo-Metohija, will be available to the Eulex mission throughout their trials.

Criminal proceedings have been launched against Ivanovic, Delibasic, Lazic and Veselinovic, and the guarantees provided by the Serbian government represent a request to the Eulex mission to allow the four men to remain free pending trial, the government press office said in a statement following a government session.
