Over 28,000 voted in Kosovo-Metohija by 6 pm

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A total of 28,416 voters in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) cast their ballots in Serbia's early parliamentary elections by 6 p.m. on Sunday, and no incidents were reported, OSCE spokesperson Nikola Gaon stated late on Sunday.

Out of this number, 11,552 voters used their voting right in northern KiM, Gaon told Tanjug.

Kosovo-Metohija has 107,958 eligible voters, who may vote at a total of ten polling centres and fifteen branch offices.

The polling stations in Kosovo-Metohija will be open until 8 p.m. but the votes will not be counted in the province as the electoral material is to be transported to Raska and Vranje, central Serbia.

The elections in 17 KiM municipalities are monitored by 400 OSCE representatives, with all the electoral material and electoral rolls provided by the Republic Electoral Commission of Serbia.
