Tourist-nautical season opens in Belgrade

BELGRADE - The Viking Aegir ship will sail into the Port of Belgrade on Thursday thus marking the opening of this year's tourist-nautical season in Belgrade.

The ship carrying 180 tourists from the U.S., the Great Britain and Canada, will sail into the Port of Belgrade as part of the seven-day trip dubbed “The Doors of Eastern Europe”, organized by the largest European tour operator Viking River Cruise, the Tourist Organization of Belgrade announced.

As a sign of welcome, the travelers will be offered traditional home-made bread and rakia and a national folk dance show will be staged near the dock.
