Djokovic sweeps into Miami quarterfinals

MIAMI - Serbia's best tennis player Novak Djokovic advanced on Tuesday to the quarterfinals of the Sony Open Tennis tournament in Miami.

Second seed and three-time former champion Djokovic notched up a routine straight sets win against world No. 17 Tommy Robredo (6-3, 7-5), extending his head-to-head record over the Spaniard to 6-1.

The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Miami, Florida, which Djokovic won in 2007, 2011 and 2012, offers a prize fund of USD 5.64 million.
