Vucic: Mali or Selakovic to be Belgrade mayor

BELGRADE – The position of mayor of the city of Belgrade will be taken by either Sinisa Mali, current president of the interim authority in the Serbian capital, or Nikola Selakovic, outgoing Serbian minister of justice, Serbian Progressive Party leader Aleksandar Vucic has said for Belgrade-based newspaper Politika.

The decision on who will lead the team to run the capital over the next four years will be known in ten days, the daily said.

Politika said the closest to becoming the city manager is Goran Vesic and other members of the executive in the capital will be appointed later.
