Dacic thanks countries that have come to Serbia's aid

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic thanked all countries and the EU for the assistance they have provided so far in the fight against the unprecedented floods that hit Serbia over the past few days.

Dacic said that assistance in equipment, technical goods and manpower specialised for rescue missions are still needed, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released.

The Serbian minister of foreign affairs called for help from the UN Office in Belgrade.
“Having in mind the current situation in Serbia, assistance will certainly be needed in the days to come as well,” Dacic said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notified all foreign embassies and international organisations accredited in Serbia, as well as the diplomatic and consular offices of Serbia, as to the ways for the citizens, Serbia's diaspora and foreign institutions to send assistance to Serbia which has been fighting against the worst floods in the past 100 for four days now.
