PM thanks Algeria for USD 500,000 donation
BELGRADE -- Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić on Thursday thanked Algeria for a USD 500,000 donation aimed at helping Serbia deal with the consequences of the recent floods.
Vučić "expressed his most cordial gratitude to Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, as well as Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and Algeria's Ambassador to Serbia Abdelkader Mesdoua," Tanjug reported.
The USD 500,000 donation to Serbia is one of the largest donations for the population hit by the recent floods in the country, and is proof of the sincere friendship between the peoples of Serbia and Algeria, said a statement from the press office of the Serbian government.
