Bojan Pajtic: Let Djilas choose his post

Dragan Djilas can choose what he wants to do in the DS and has my full support in that. He is an excellenet in operational activities and a currageous man, Bojan Pajtic the new DS President says.

Djilas has never said any bad word about me, either officially or unofficially. The same goes for me. It is possible only in the DS that a campaign is carried out in a civilized manner and that all candidates are so mature, the newly elected DS President Bojan Pajtic said for the Blic.

How do you comment that all of the elected vice presidents were Djilas's candidates?
- Gordana Comic was my candidate and others were suggested by Djilas. Tje moment they have been elected the vice presidents, they are no longer mine or Djilas's candidates but the DS vice presidents. We have demonstrated that the DS is the most progressive political party on the country. Three of five elected vice presidents are wemen and for the first time in the history of the Serbian parliamentarism a president of one big parliamentary party is from Vojvodina.

Can these results cause new splitting within the party?
-There is no splitting. I shall cooperate with all.

What shall be your first steps?
-My first step shall be to gather parties of the democratic bloc, an association to prevent negative trends in the society. In Serbia democracy has been suspended and instituations have no sense, All decisions in the country are being made by one indivbidual. Autocracy in the 21st century is not acceptable and we intend to fight against it with other political parties of democratic orientation. We shall form a shadow government that shall offer...
