56 kilos of marijuana seized at border crossing

PREŠEVO -- The police on Monday found more than 56 kilograms of marijuana hidden in a car stopped at the Preševo border crossing between Serbia and Macedonia.

A statement said that the drugs were found in a Greek license plates Opel Vectra, driven by 40-year-old Greek citizen identified as A.P.

The drugs were found in 82 packages, hidden under the back seat and the trunk of the vehicle.

The driver has been detained, the police said.
