Firework display festival to debut in Serbia on June 20

BELGRADE - Sremska Mitrovica will host Serbia's first firework display festival on June 20-22, and the event will feature pyromusical fireworks, to be performed for the first time ever in the country by teams from Serbia, Slovakia and Italy, the organisers said at a press conference.

The festival in Sremska Mitrovica, northwestern Serbia, is an international competition that will bring together renowned teams - part of the Italian team won the world championship title at the Montreal Fireworks Festival last year, while Serbia's Mirnovec pirotehnika won the second place.

A festival of old crafts and souvenirs, titled Let us all experience Serbia, will also be making its debut this year in Sremska Mitrovica as a side event.
