Vucic sends condolences to Bulgarian PM

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic sent a letter of condolences to his Bulgarian counterpart Plamen Oresarski for the victims of the floods that recently affected the eastern part of the country.

"I would like to express my deepest condolences for the loss of life in the floods that hit your country after the torrential rain in the region of Varna. Please convey our deepest sympathy to the families and loved ones of all persons reported missing during this natural disaster," the message reads.

Vucic thanked Oresarski and the people of Bulgaria for their invaluable support during a similar disaster in Serbia one month ago.

Serbia is ready to provide all the necessary assistance to Bulgaria and help with the repair and reconstruction in the flood-affected areas, said Vucic.
