Jovanovski ousts Azarenka from Wimbledon WTA

LONDON - Serbian female tennis player Bojana Jovanovski surprised the audience at the Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday as she defeated Victoria Azarenka of Belarus in the second round match, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.

Jovanovski ousted the tournament's eight seed and got even with her for the defeat at the London Grand Slam four years ago.

In the next round, Jovanovski will cross rackets with Tereza Smitkova of the Czech Republic who defeated Coco Vandeweghe of the U.S. on Wednesday, 6-3, 7-6.
