Shooting of Emir Kusturica’s film to begin

Sloboda Micalovic is preparing herself for the role in Emir Kusturica’s film ‘On the Milky Way’ in which she is to play together with Monica Bellucci.

In a week time Sloboda Micalovic shall join Emir Kusturica’s crew that is shooting continuation of the ‘On the Milky Way’ in Trebinje since last week.

The actress does not hide to be excited because of the role she is going to play and because playing in Kusturica’s film is making her dream come true.

- I am exercising choreography and I am very dedicated to it. I am traveling to Trebinje in three days and my work there is to start on July 3 – Micalovic told the Blic.
The actress is to work with Kusturica who is in the role of monk Kosta and with Miki Manojlovic. In the middle of July the leading actress Monica Bellucci who finished the major part of the shooting last year, is to join them.

Kusturica wrote a role especially for Sloboda Micalovic. She says to be satisfied about how the famous movie director has seen her. In the film that speaks about love at war time, she is playing beautiful Milena who is selling milk to soldiers and taking care of her home. Her brother gave her a task to find him a wife and she finds nobody else but Monica Bellucci whom she buys and takes home.
