President Traian Basescu signed the decrees on the submission to Parliament for ratification of the association agreements between the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia, on the one hand, and the EU, on the other hand, informed the Presidential Administration in a release. Thus, the head of the state signed the decrees on the submission to Parliament for ratification of the association agreements between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their member states, on the one hand, and the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia, on the other hand, all concluded in Brussels last Friday.
* President Traian Basescu on Monday signed the decree bestowing the Order "For Merit" in the rank of Commander on Academician Ion Dediu from the Republic of Moldova, informs the Presidential Administration. According to the cited source, the honor was awarded "in sign of high appreciation for the recipient's continued activity in the service of thorough ecological research, for his outstanding results obtained in the teaching activity." The decoration was made at the proposal of President Traian Basescu.
