Dacic, Levi: Intensify bilateral dialogue, contacts

BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Yossef Levy said Wednesday that the bilateral dialogue and contacts at all levels should be intensified in order to contribute to further promotion of the two countries' relations.

Both sides underlined the annual political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries as a highly beneficial practice, Serbian Foreign Ministry stated in a release.

Dacic expressed gratitude on behalf of the government and the people of Serbia for the emergency aid provided by Israel through its Embassy in Belgrade to the flood-affected areas in Serbia.

Ambassador Levy informed Dacic about the situation in Israel after the abduction and death of three Israeli teenagers and expressed his gratitude to Serbian Foreign Ministry on the statements released regarding this matter.

The officials shared their views and opinions on the current situation in the Middle East and the Balkans, the release states.
