Beer Fest from August 13 to 17

BELGRADE - This year's Belgrade Beer Fest will take place at Usce from August 13 to 17.

Organizers have promised a rich program, with CeeLo Green, DJs Felix Da Housecat, Darren Emerson and Croatian rock band Parni Valjak performing on the opening night.

The festival program also includes gigs by Bajaga I Instruktori, Plavi Orkestar, Van Gogh, Hladno Pivo, Goblini, Bad Copy, YU Grupa, Edo Maajka, Darkwood Dub, Orthodox Celts, S.A.R.S, Balkanika, Garavi Sokak, Blaza I Kljunovi, Kanda, Kodza I Nebojsa, Bilja Krstic, Dejan Petrovic's trumpet orchestra and others, organizers have announced at a press conference on Thursday.

Speaker of the Belgrade City Assembly Nikola Nikodijevic said that, with over 700,000 visitors and huge publicity, Beer Fest has grown into a major music event.

The festival is a good way of promoting the country, Nikodijevic noted.

Beer lovers can enter the festival area free of charge, except on the opening night for which tickets will be priced at RSD 300.
