Simona Halep, Horia Tecau, Alexandru Tomescu, Mihai Covaliu and Ionut Budisteanu on Monday will receive the title of ambassadors of Romanian tourism at the third edition of the 'Ambassadors of Romanian Tourism' Gala.

The Department for SMEs, Business Environment and Tourism, in partnership with the Foreign Affairs Ministry thus continues the series of events within 'Romania promoted through values' project.

The new honorary ambassadors will sign on Monday 'the contract for tourist Romania,' thus committing to get involved in promoting the country worldwide and transfer their image capital to the development of the local tourism.

In the first stage of the project, market by the Gala of August 2013, Grigore Lese, Elisabeta Lipa, Ilie Nastase, Ivan Patzaichin, Stefan Popa Popas, Gabriela Szabo, Iolanda Balas Soter and Gheorghe Zamfir received the ambassador passports.

In the second edition of the 'Ambassadors of Romanian Tourism' Gala, the honorary ambassador passport wnet to Octavian Bellu, Marian Bitang, Constantin Chiriac, Nadia Comaneci, Helmut Duckadam, Maia Morgenstern, Oana Pelea, Dumitru Prunariu, Dan Puric, Dinu Sararu, Ovidiu Lipan Tandarica and Nicolae Voiculet.
