Council of appeals court judges to decide on GD MP Nikos Michos

Golden Dawn MP Nikos Michos is to be placed under house arrest until a higher judicial body decides on his fate.

On Wednesday Michos appeared before magistrates probing the neofascist party's alleged criminal activities to answer charges of illegal weapons possession and drug possession.

The prosecutor disagreed with the magistrates on whether Michos should be jailed pending trial or granted conditional release. A decision will be made by a council of appeal court judges.
