Turkish PM Erdoğan talks to Palestinian leaders

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called Palestinian leaders amid Israeli aggression against Gaza and has called the international community to act for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Erdoğan discussed the developments in Palestine with President Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas leader Khaleed Meshaal on July 10, private broadcaster CNNTürk reported. Erdoğan reportedly called on the two prominent leaders of Fatah and Hamas to stand in unity against Israeli attacks. He also stressed the need for action from the international community for Gaza to stop Israeli attacks and provide humanitarian assistance.

Erdoğan instructed relevant Turkish institutions to launch an aid campaign to Gaza in a bid to supply necessary humanitarian needs to the Palestinians in the region.
