Interior ministers of Germany, France to visit Serbia
BELGRADE - The interior ministers of Germany and France are coming on a two-day visit to Serbia on July 14, during which they will talk with the Serbian prime minister and interior minister, the embassies of the countries have announced.
German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere and his French counterpart Bernard Cazeneuve will meet Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.
By this visit, the German and French interior ministers want to express their joint support for Serbia's EU perspective, reads the joint release issued by the two embassies in Belgrade.
As announced, Maiziere and Cazeneuve will talk with Serbia's officials about the issues relating to the fight against organized crime and drug trafficking, and all issues of importance for further police cooperation.
On the second day of the visit, the ministers will hold a joint press conference with Prime Minister Vucic.
