Coach crashes on A2 motorway, injures 15; three in serious condition

curred on Sunday at noon on A2 motorway linking the capital to the Black Sea port of Constanta, leaving 15 people injured, with the event involving a coach and a car.
The Bucharest-based Emergency Mobile Resuscitation and Extrication Service (SMURD) coordinator Bogdan Oprita told AGERPRES that three of the injured are in a 'serious' condition, while the others seem to have sustained minor injuries, after the coach carrying 40 persons overturned in a ditch near the motorway.
'One of the injured is in a post-traumatic coma and has been put on life-supporting machine. Another one has suffered multiple traumas and a third one has an open arm-bone fracture', the SMURD official explained.
A SMURD helicopter and Traffic Police squads have arrived at the crash site.
