Romanian Prime Minister to meet Serbian officials Thursday

BELGRADE - Prime Minister of Romania Victor Ponta will arrive on Thursday on a visit to Belgrade where he will meet with senior state officials of Serbia.

Ponta's visit is scheduled to start with a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, after which a plenary session of the two countries' government delegations will be held, the Serbian government's media office released.

The meetings are to be followed by media statements by the two prime ministers.

Ponta will also confer with Serbia's President Tomislav Nikolic, the president's press service announced.

Vucic and Ponta will together visit the eastern Serbian town of Bor and meet the representatives of ethnic Romanian associations in Serbia.

After this meeting the Romanian and Serbian prime ministers will again address the media, the release states.
