260.000 people joined in EXIT Adventure

NOVI SAD - This year's EXIT Festival and Sea Dance Festival, comprising the seven-day EXIT Adventure event, drew more than 260,000 revelers, EXIT's director Dusan Kovacevic told Tanjug.

He noted that he is particularly pleased with the fact that festival-goers accepted the new concept and welcomed the adding of a seaside event to EXIT, which raised the bar to the next level.
"Many performers, including a large number of international stars, were thrilled with the atmosphere in both Novi Sad and Budva. They changed their schedules and stayed two or three days longer after their show to enjoy the event as ordinary visitors," said Kovacevic, adding that it is a practice that no other festival in the world can boast.

EXIT Adventure kicked off July 10 in Novi Sad with the opening of EXIT festival.

The top 10 European music festival attracted over 185,000 visitors who enjoyed the music of more than 400 artists from all over the world, performing on twenty stages at the Petrovaradin Fortress.

Jamiroquay, Rudimental, Damon Albarn, Skrillex, Afrojack, Carl Cox, Suede, Pretty Lights, Gloria Gaynor, Pet Shop Boys were among the headliners.

Over 4,500 people stayed in the Exit Camp, most of them coming from countries in the region, but also from Great Britain and the Netherlands.

The festival 'moved' to Montenegro on July 15, gathering more than 120 international music stars at the Jaz beach in Budva.

The Sea Dance Festival was closed early on Friday by the British electronic band Underworld whose show started around 2 a.m. after a spectacular firework display in the skies above the Jaz beach.
