Pajtic: Open call for proposals for export financing loans
NOVI SAD - Bojan Pajtic, the prime minister of the Serbian northern province of Vojvodina, said that two new open calls for loan proposals intended for economic development programs will be invited by the Vojvodina Development Fund.
The calls are aimed at the provision of short-term loans to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Vojvodina for the purpose of export financing, and of long-term loans required for permanent working capital.
The micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Vojvodina are entitled to apply for loan funds for export purposes, Pajtic told reporters on Tuesday.
"These are currently the most favorable loans available in this part of Europe. The interest rate is three percent for loan arrangements supported by guarantees, and four percent for those using mortgages over immovable property as means of security," said Pajtic, and pointed out that the loan funds used to finance permanent working capital are provided for a term of three years with a six-month grace period.
This period will allow business owners to apply for funds in the amount of up to RSD 15 million, Pajtic explained.
"At the same time, a one-year short-term credit line of RSD 400 million will allow exporters to expand their presence in foreign markets and help improve the country's foreign trade balance," said Pajtic.
