Govt adopts draft laws on privatisation and bankruptcy
BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted on Sunday the bills of amendments to the second set of reform laws, including the laws on privatisation and bankruptcy procedure, and forwarded them to the parliament for debate and adoption on urgent procedure.
The amendments to the Privatisation Law aim to accelerate privatisation and create conditions for economic development and preservation of social security, the Serbian government office for cooperation with the media released.
The amendments to the Law on Bankruptcy Procedure provide for improvement of the business climate, more efficient implementation of the bankruptcy procedure and prevention of abuse and corruption in the process, the government said in the release.
The Serbian parliament adopted the amendments to the Labour Law and amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance on July 18, as the first in the series of the announced reform laws.
