Vucic, Strugl discuss strengthening of cooperation
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conferred in Belgrade on Wednesday with Upper Austria Minister of Labour, Economy, Tourism, Sports and European Affairs Michael Strugl concerning the improvement of political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In its release, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media said that during the meeting, the two officials discussed improvement of economic and political cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria, with a special focus on the improvement of relations with the Upper Austria province.
Special attention was attached to the cooperation in the tourism sector and the construction of tourism infrastructure on the Danube River.
The Austrian delegation promised that it would offer to share its experiences in the area and send its experts which would collaborate with their Serbian colleagues on projects aimed at development of the industry.
Vucic informed Strugl about the structural reforms Serbia is implementing and the country's European integration process.
He underscored that the investors from Upper Austria are welcome in Serbia and that they will be able to make use of most favourable investment conditions.
Strugl said that Austria is closely following and welcomes the reforms conducted by the Serbian government.
He underscored that Austria will work to improve Serbia's reputation within the EU and will also continue supporting Serbia's European integration process.
