Vucic:Gov't guarantees best conditions to foreign investors

BELGRADE - Serbia's government stands ready to guarantee the most favorable conditions for foreign investors to do business in Serbia, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said during a meeting he had with Swiss Parliament member Christa Markwalder in Belgrade Wednesday.

On this occasion, Vucic called on Swiss businessmen to invest in Serbia, the government’s media relations office said in a release.

Markwalder said that the Swiss Confederation supported Serbia on its road to EU accession and spoke positively about the reform processes undertaken by the new government.

Vucic and Markwalder discussed economic reforms, particularly a set of reform legislation recently adopted by the Serbian parliament and those soon to be adopted.

They also discussed the situation in the Western Balkans and rated it as very stable.

Talking about the two countries’ joint OSCE chairmanship, the two officials agreed joint activities to be conducted during the Serbia chairmanship of this organization in 2015, the release said.
