Vucic sends letter of support to Iraqi Prime Minister

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic sent a letter of support to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Tuesday against the unlawful and aggressive operations carried out by the extremist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

“The government of the Republic of Serbia strongly condemns the ISIL's terrorist operations in the territory of the Republic of Iraq,” reads the letter that Vucic addressed to Al-Maliki.

“The government of the Republic of Serbia offers full support to the government of the Republic of Iraq when it comes to its stands concerning the unlawful and aggressive operations in the territory of its state,” the Serbian prime minister underscored.
