Four medals for young Serbian astrophysicists

BELGRADE -- Students of the Mathematical High School in Belgrade have four medals at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA).

The competition was held in Suceava, Romania.

Five high school students representing Serbia at the 8th IOAA, held from August 1 to 11, won a total of one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

Ivan Tanasijević won the gold medal, Luka Bojović won silver, the bronze medals went to Predrag Obradović and Đorđe Zikelić, and Marko Purić received an honorable mention, the Mathematical High School said.
