Serbian publishers awarded at Slavic Book Festival in Moscow
BELGRADE - Four publishing houses from Serbia won awards at the Slavic Book Festival in Moscow, the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Serbia announced on Friday.
Carobna Knjiga won the award for best Slavic language culture and history book for 'Serbian folk tales for children of the 21st century', and Globosino Aleksandrija was awarded for meritorious contribution to the translation of Slavic literature.
Evro Giunti and Kreativni Centar were honored for their outstanding work in publishing books on history and culture of Slavic countries.
The festival brought together publishers from 13 countries - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia and Serbia, and presented awards to a total of 20 participants.
