Deputy PM Dragnea says 2015 should be the year to finalise decentralisation, regionalisation

Minister of Regional Development and Public Administration, Deputy Prime Minister Liviu Dragnea said Friday in Oradea (western Romania) that 2015 is the year when both the decentralisation of the public administration and regionalisation have to be finalised.

'About decentralisation, it has been a mistake thinking that the entire system will agree. The entire system disagreed, and that is why regionalisation continues to be highly topical because it is one of the main instruments that can be used for Romania's balanced development,' Dragnea told a press conference on Friday.
