PM Ponta: I have managed to integrate highly competent youth into Gov't decision-making process

Prime Minister Victor Ponta said on Monday, on occasion of the International Day of Democracy that over the past two and a half years, he has managed to integrate into the Government's decision-making process youth with exceptional education and results in the private sector.

"Today we are celebrating the International Day of Democracy whose main theme this year is engaging young people on democracy. I'm proud that I have managed in the past two and a half years to integrate into the Government's decision-making process highly competent young people, with exceptional education and results in the private sector, who have come up with fresh ideas, full of courage and energy," Victor Ponta wrote on his Facebook page.

In this context, he said that for the Romanian democracy, it's extremely important young people's participation in the voting process. He also encouraged the Romanian youth to go to the polls in the November presidential elections.

"At the same time, I believe that young people's participation in the electoral process is very important for the European future of the Romanian democracy and for continuing modernizing our institutions. So, I invite you all to vote this November," Victor Ponta's message reads. AGERPRES
