Vucic, Kukan want good cooperation in region

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Serbia Eduard Kukan agreed on Friday that regional cooperation and close relations between the countries of the Western Balkans were an important condition for Serbia's EU integration.

Vucic thanked Kukan for his help in Serbia's EU integration, adding that the Serbian government's goal was to conduct political and economic reforms and join the EU, according to a statement from the government office for media relations.

Kukan believes Serbia will have the strength to conduct difficult reforms and earn its EU membership, the statement says.
