Vucic sends letter to Obama

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic delivered a letter addressed to U.S. President Barack Obama to U.S. Ambassador in Serbia Michael Kirby on Tuesday, which states that the Serbian government supports the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and is willing to assist the fight with the humble means it has at its disposal.

According to a release issued by the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media, the meeting focused on the situation and relations in the region, economic reforms and the open skies agreement, which would make room for flights of Serbian airliners to the U.S.

The talks also covered the danger of ebola virus spreading and the willingness of the Republic of Serbia to join the fight for its prevention, the release states.
