European Researchers' Night To Take Place In 6 Bulgarian Cities

This year's edition of the European Researchers' Night will take place on September 26 in six Bulgarian cities from the early afternoon till around midnight.

It will demonstrate what scientists do and why it matters in our daily lives and what they do besides science. The event will include exhibitions and presentations on scientific and humanitarian topics, both for children and adults.

The Bulgarian edition of the event will take place in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Ruse, Burgas and Stara Zagora with the participation of New Bulgarian University (project coordinator), British Council Bulgaria, Joint Innovation Centre, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Department for Information and In-Service Teacher Training, Trakia University, Plovdiv University, Medical University, Plovdiv, Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" and Medical University - Varna. 

It is an event that takes place every year simultaneously in about 300 cities all over and beyond. The events are supported by the European Commission as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, which is an EU programme to boost European research careers.
