INTERVIEW Ana-Maria Branza: I'd choose modern facilities in Bucharest, and the quiet of old days

Epee fencer Ana-Maria Branza, Olympic vice champion and several times European and world champion, shared her childhood between Bucharest and Craiova (southwestern Romania) as she built a name in national and international sports. She maintains, however, that the Capital still has a major part in her life, especially as it has many interesting places she still has to discover.

In an interview to AGERPRES within the MY CITY, BUCHAREST project, she said Cuba and Havana are fascinating, but Bucharest also has things to offer to foreign tourists — like the Parliament Palace and the Old Downtown.
