Dacic starts Moscow visit Monday

BELGRADE - Ivica Dacic, Serbian deputy prime minister and foreign minister, will pay a visit to Moscow October 6-8, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released in a statement.

Dacic will take part in a meeting of the group in charge of interior painting of Belgrade's Church of St. Sava, which will take place in Moscow on October 6.

On October 7, Dacic is scheduled to partake in the 13th session of the Intergovernmental committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation in the capacity of co-chairman of the mixed committee and the head of the Serbian delegation.

The meeting will discuss the preparations for the forthcoming visit of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to Belgrade.

On October 8, Dacic will attend the opening of the agricultural fair entitled Golden Autumn in Moscow, which is expected to be opened by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Serbian Minister of Agriculture Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic will also visit Moscow as member of the Serbian delegation, the Ministry of Agriculture stated in a release.

She will also attend the 13th session of the Intergovernmental committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation and the opening of the agricultural fair entitled Golden Autumn in Moscow.

Bogosavljevic-Boskovic will confer with Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov on promotion of the bilateral cooperation in the area of agriculture, which is greatly important for Serbia, the ministry's statement reads.
