Non-Nationals Account for 1% of Sofia’s Population - Eurostat

Eurostat has published statistics on the share of non-nationals of the total population of EU cities.

According to Eurostat data, the share of non-national population in Sofia stands at 1% of the total population.

According to a publication of the APA news agency (Austria Presse Agentur), as cited by Sega daily, Luxembourg tops the ranking with a share of 63.8% of non-nationals.

Belgium's Brussels has a share of foreign nationals of 33.8%, followed by Latvia's Riga with 26%, UK's London with 21.6%, Estonia's Tallinn with 21.1%, and Ireland's Dublin with 20.3%.

Austria's Vienna has a share of 20.3% of non-nationals.

Six EU capitals have a share of foreign nationals of less than 5%, including Poland's Warsaw with 0.6%, Bulgaria's Sofia with 1%, Lithuania's Vilnius with 1.4%, Slovakia's Bratislava with 3.1%, Hungary's Budapest with 3.3%, and Malta's Valletta with 4.1%.
