Serbian-Korean relations improved significantly
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Republic of Korea's outgoing Ambassador to Serbia Kim Kwang-keun agreed on Wednesday that the relations between the two countries have improved significantly over the past three years, and that they should continue on the same course in the coming period.
In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, President Nikolic said that the EU membership is Serbia's strategic goal, adding that numerous partner countries around the world, including the Republic of Korea, will see this as an additional guarantee that Serbia is a stable and modern country, with which successful cooperation can be established.
Ambassador Kim stressed that the Republic of Korea supports Serbia in its efforts to join the European Union as soon as possible, and voiced hope that the future cooperation between the two countries will continue to follow the upward path, the president's press service stated.
