More than 500 inventions presented at Tesla Fest

NOVI SAD - Milos Vucevic, mayor of the city of Novi Sad, northern Serbia, hosted a reception at the City Hall on Tuesday for participants in the 28th ‘Tesla Fest' International Festival of Innovation, Knowledge and Creativity.

Novi Sad is the right place for holding Tesla Fest because it is the only city that declared Nikola Tesla its honorary citizen way back in 1936, Vucevic said addressing the participants in the festival.

He said that it was a good thing to know a large number of talented young inventors and innovators were among the participants this year.

A total of 150 inventors and innovators from 25 countries exhibited more than 500 inventions at Tesla Fest, said the chairman of the board of the Association of Inventors of Vojvodina and the festival's organizer, Andjelko Glavasevic.

Tesla Fest is talking place on October 12-15, under the auspices of the Serbian government, the provincial government and the city of Novi Sad.

Besides the exhibition of inventions, industrial design, watermarks and geographical indications and trademarks, Tesla Fest also features international conferences on innovation and international technical creativity competition for young people.
