Gov’t rushed to Öcalan to ease violence: Turkey’s main opposition leader

CHP leader has said the government’s incapability with its intelligence body rendered it dependent on a call by Abdullah Öcalan, the jailed leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), to ease violence on streets.
