Crvena Zvezda beats Galatasaray

BELGRADE - Crvena Zvezda Belgrade defeated Galatasaray from Istanbul 76-68 in a 2014-2015 Euroleague Basketball Round 1, Group D match in Belgrade late on Thursday.

After trailing 0-12 in the first half, Slovenia's Jaka Blazic led the comeback for Zvezda and point guard Marcus Williams, who scored 15 points and had 7 assists, and center Boban Marjanovic, with his double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, took care of the rest of the match to bring Zvezda a victory and valuable points.

Crvena Zvezda will next take on Lithuania's Neptunas. The match will be played on Thursday next week.
