3rd Danube Business Forum to be held on October 27-29
BELGRADE - The 3rd Danube Business Forum will be held on October 27-29 in Belgrade and Novi Sad, the organisers announced on Wednesday.
The event is expected to bring together 800 participants - leaders in the fields of energy, water, agribusiness, transport, ITC, entrepreneurship and the creative industry in the Danube region, which includes 14 countries.
For the past three years, the Danube Business Forum has been bringing together regional business and institutional leaders and key actors in energy, transport and agribusiness to encourage investments and boost competitiveness in the region.
The Danube Business Forum is based on the principles and pillars of the EU Danube Strategy.
This year, it will focus on creating a business-friendly environment and improving cooperation, as well as on competitiveness, sustainable development, better use of economic potentials and affirmation of prosperity in the Danube region as the most significant values resulting from common know-how and skills.
The Danube naturally connects people, ideas and markets with around 215 million residents in an area encompassing 14 countries.
Representatives of the relevant ministries and ambassadors of Danubian countries - as well as other countries interested in various forms of cooperation - are expected to attend the forum.
