Vuckovic appointed rapporteur on openness in EU institutions

BELGRADE - The Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe appointed on Thursday Natasa Vuckovic as the rapporteur on the transparency and openness of European institutions, the Serbian parliament has stated.

The procedure for drafting a report and resolution takes two years and includes numerous analyses and exchanges of opinion on the subject, in order to present the proposals on how to improve the openness of European institutions.

Vuckovic is a member of the Serbian parliament from the Democratic Party, which is in the opposition. She is also a member of the Serbian parliament's permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where she also chairs the Committee on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs.
