Gasic, Samson want better Serbia-Indonesia relations

BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic and Indonesian Ambassador Samuel Samson agreed on Friday that the political relations between the two countries were good and improving further.

Gasic thanked Samson, who is at the end of his term in Serbia, for very successful work and efforts to improve the relations between the two nations, the Serbian Defence Ministry stated on its website.

During the meeting, where they said that the military economic cooperation had improved since 2011, the two officials discussed also improvements to the military medical and education cooperation.

Adelegation of the Indonesian University of Defence will visit their collegues in Belgrade in December and discuss options for officer education and training.

Gasic thanked the ambassador for Indonesia's support to Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
