Udovicki: Inspection supervision law by year-end

BELGRADE - The law on inspection supervision that will change and improve the efficiency of the state will be put before the parliament by the end of 2014, Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Kori Udovicki said Friday.

"If there is one reform law that will truly change and improve the efficiency of the Serbian state, it is the law on inspection supervision," Udovicki told Tanjug.

The public debate has been completed but the law will not be put on the agenda before the necessary bylaws are prepared, she added.

The law on inspection supervision should be carefully planned and implemented so we could be certain that it will be able to close the huge space which the shadow economy now covers, and reduce the opportunities for corruption, said Udovicki.
