Plovdiv-Based Plant to Deliver 20 Truck-Mounted Aerial Platforms to NATO

A Plovdiv-based plant has manufactured 20 truck-mounted aerial platforms to be delivered to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

The trucks are being loaded onto military vehicles to be shipped to the respective overseas destinations, according to Petar Petrov, Executive Director of Balkankar Record.

MPR-20 truck-mounted platforms are 4X4 diesel platforms, Petrov says, as cited by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.

He notes that the truck-mounted platforms match the specific requirements of NATO, which has demanded a special model, as well as a secure execution of the order.

According to Petrov, MPR-20 truck-mounted platforms are very durable machines which can carry loads of nearly 2 tonnes, almost equal to their own weight.

He says that MPR-20 truck-mounted platforms have an edge on similar products in terms of maneuverability and stability on any terrain.

The MPR-20 truck-mounted platforms have been tested at the testing ground of the Plovdiv-based plant.

According to Georgi Valkov, head of a department at the company, the truck-mounted platforms are to be used in mountain areas.
